Two Weeks to Go

This is a fairly uninteresting post to note that I am leaving in two weeks and two days for the US of A.

The name "vagabondshoes" comes from Ol' Blue Eyes: "these vagabond shoes are longing to stray. I want to be a part of it: New York, New York!" (Just in case you were wondering.) And the 09 is because that is the year, and I'm clearly not as original as I thought.

I'm hoping to update this blog daily, with at least a few sentences of what's been happening. Also fairly keen to keep photos up here as they happen. (Provided I have a working camera before I leave...)

Please leave me a comment (don't worry Mum, I'll show you how before I leave...) as I'm sure I'll be missing you while I'm gone. I'm surprisingly attached to some of you kids.
